OwlCrate - February Box

February's OwlCrate came in full force! Not only did it ship and arrive on time, but I was pleasantly surprised at what was inside!

The theme was Among the Monsters.

The box contained the following items:

  • A copy of Frankenstein by Mary Shelley as part of their new OwlCrate Classics Collection

  • An enamel keychain designed by Azura Arts and inspired by This Savage Song

  • A set of metal bookends made by No0ne Designs and inspired by The Bear and the Nightingale

  • Some Lakesedge cable keepers featuring artwork by the author herself, Lyndall Clipstone.

  • A Digital Chapter Sampler of Forestfall, the sequel to Lakesedge, on the back of a card featuring character art from Lyndall Clipstone

  • An art print created by Dri Gomez of Howl's Moving Castle

  • This month's collectible pin from Hey Atlas Creative inspired by The Raven Boys

  • The book of the month: Only A Monster written by Vanessa Len

I was so surprised when I opened the box and saw the book Frankenstein! I thought it was the book of the month! Double surprise when I get to the bottom and I find Only A Monster. I quickly looked at the list of items to see why there were two books. Turned out that Frankenstein was part of their Classics Collection and I was super excited to find out there would be more classics in future boxes throughout the year!

March's box is still available if you want to jump in. The theme is Artistic Obsession. Here's the description of the book:

"Our March book features so many things we adore…an atmospheric Gothic setting, an artist with a dangerous talent, and a murder mystery yearning to be solved. This one kept us up reading late into the night!"
