Owlcrate is having problems getting the items for the boxes, so the November box came in late with a missing item and the next boxes are expected to ship late as well. They're trying to plan more in advance so they get the items in time, though, so it's all good. They keep their community up to date on the shipping updates page, which is really nice of them. This box was missing the reading planner, but they'll send them out as soon as they get them. I'll add it to an Owlcrate post when I get it.
The theme for the November box was Dreaming in the Dark. With a story about nightmares coming to life, I just had to get this box.
In this box, you can find the last installment of their four-part collectible book tins, this one inspired by A Darker Shade of Magic; a Sangria flavored lip balm by Fiction Bath Co with The Bone Season in mind; a full-size pillowcase inspired by A Court of Thorns & Roses; some washi tape created by Kim Carlika Art inspired by Strange the Dreamer; the enamel pin featuring the cursed moutain village from Dreams Lie Beneath; and, lastly, the book of the month, Dreams Lie Beneath from Rebecca Ross, with a letter from the author.
Since I'm late with the post, the December box isn't available for ordering anymore, so we'll skip right to January's theme. January's theme is Thrill of the Hunt. Here is the description for the book: "Our January book features a group of estranged royal siblings coming together to hunt for treasure, in an effort to find a new source of magic for their kingdom."
