The October box's theme was Wield your Blade. I'm really into mythology right now and trying to find books about it, so when I read that this month's book was inspired by Chinese mytholgy, I got quickly intrigued.
The box contained a jigsaw puzzle with artwork made by Dri Gomez inspired by The Raven Cycle & Call Down the Hawk; a candle made by Flick the Wick with a scent inspired by Shadow of the Fox; a very beautiful sewing kit inspired by Spin the Dawn made by Stella Bookish Art; a Lord of the Rings inspired acrylic display made by Sakura Inked; a Rey x Kylo Ren art print illustrated by Jemlin; the monthly pin made by Icey Designs. Finally, the book of the month was Jade Fire Gold, written by June C.L. Tan.
I can't wait to make that beautiful puzzle! I'll have to figure out a way to hang it somewhere, though, haha. The candle also smells really lovely, I'm not sure I'll have the heart to burn it because I want to be able to keep smelling it forever! I am absolutely in love with the acrylic display from Lord of the Rings. I think it could've used a bit of light to see the writing better, but I still love it and will display it proudly in my bookshelf next to my Lord of the Rings books!
Next month's theme is Dreaming in the Dark. The description of the book is "Our November book is a highly anticipated fantasy release about dueling magicians, ancient magical curses, and nightmares that come to life every new moon. We were absolutely enchanted with this story from beginning to end!" You can find more sneak peaks on the items that will be in the box in this community blog post.
